Trail Guide requirements > Must be 21 years old or older, must have horse and horseback riding experience, must be able to work Saturdays or Sundays or both from mid-April thru the end of October. Must have reliable transportation. Workday hours are 9am – 4pm. Paid position.
Trail Guide responsibilities include but are not limited to: grooming, tacking up (saddle/bridle), tacking down (saddle/bridle), guiding trail rides, manure duty and self-motivated.
Office Staff requirements> Must be 16 years or older, willing to be trained on a cash register, some horse knowledge appreciated (but not necessary as long as one is willing to learn), friendly with people and have reliable transportation. Must be able to work Saturdays or Sundays or both from mid-April thru the end of October. Workday hours are 9:30am – 3:30pm. Paid position.
Office Staff responsibilities include but are not limited to: greeting customers, checking in/paperwork for customers, using a cash register, helping customers mount/dismount horses and manure duty.
Volunteer requirements > Must be 16 years of age or older, have reliable transportation, willingness to learn and work with horses. Hours are 9am – 3pm each Saturday or Sunday or both weekend days.
Volunteer responsibilities include but are not limited to: grooming, tack up (saddle/bridle), tack down (saddle/bridle), step in as a “back-guide” on trail rides, manure duty. Unpaid position.
