Ok folks….. it’s that time of year in southwest Ohio when the heat and humidity play a large part in our outdoor activities, especially with our guided trail riding business.
We love sharing and being involved in horseback riding with our customers. We are now at our busiest time of year and as much as we love to ride, we also really love our horses. We take horse husbandry seriously so when the heat and humidity (aka…heat index) reach unfavorable/dangerous levels, we shut down our trails for the safety of our horses, our staff and our customers.
Please try to schedule your guided trail rides for morning times. Trust me, you will appreciate the ride more! We are even willing to schedule trail rides earlier than 10am on high heat index days.
Thru the rest of June, all of July and August, anyone wishing to schedule a guided trail ride on Trail #5A, our 1 1/2 hour advanced ride, must choose a 9am, 9:30am or 10am trail time. No later times will be available for our advanced ride.
We appreciate your understanding and love for our horses as much as we do!
